had a really wonderful stay at hestia house, loved the breakfast options! the full breakfast at the lawrence was super nice & we even ordered breakfast in bed on our last day, which was yummy. staff were friendly and helpful, and the decor was just so fresh and cool. the location is perfect, just a short walk to the city center. comfy deluxe double room made me feel right at home!
the only downside was the external bathroom situation, which was a bit annoying to trek to, especially at night. also, the lighting in the room could've been brighter for doing makeup.

an awesome stay in Derry! 🇮🇪
Such a lekker stay! The decor in my room was just stunning and made me feel right at home. Plus, brekkie was a treat, especially the Irish full cooked one! Staff were so friendly and always went the extra mile to help. Honestly felt like a local with the great vibe around here.
Only thing was having to trek down four flights for the bathroom, bit of a schlep at night!

Comfy Deluxe Double Room. Decor made me feel at home.
External toilet situation left me feeling awkward, especially with the shared access. A folding luggage stand would’ve really helped with space management in the room.

the room I was given had an external toilet, which was not mentioned at all, how delightful! I also had to share a kettle with other guests—so luxurious. A complimentary gesture woudl ve been nice for the trouble. I almost thought well of this place, but alas, I just couldn’t.

Definitely worth it for someone looking for comfort
I loved that the breakfast was so versatile,, I got to try both breakfast in bed and the Irish breakfast, and it really fueled me for the day. The decor in the room was just awesome, made me feel at home, which is rare on a trip.
It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but it was still reasonable for what you get.
